Super-Charged Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Banana
- Handful of Spinach
- 1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
- 1/2 Cup of Strawberries
- 1tsp Kiki Health's Organic Acai Berry Powder
- 1/2 - 1 Cup of Liquid of Your Choice (Depending on your desired consistency)
- Your favorite toppings (we love berries and chia seeds!)
Method
Add all of your ingredients (except your toppings) into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Start off with a small amount of liquid and keep adding until you've reached your desired consistency. If you want a really thick, ice-cream consistency, then add around 1/2 cup of liquid to your smoothie mixture.
Then simply pour your smoothie mixture into a bowl and add your toppings for a healthy, balanced breakfast.
Chia-Quinoa Porridge
Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup Quinoa Flakes
- 1 Cup of Milk (we love Almond Milk)
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Berries, Chopped Nuts and Banana To Top
Method
Microwave
Add your Quinoa Flakes, Milk, ChiaSeeds and Cinnamon into two bowls and mix well. Pop into the microwave for 3 minutes, stirring after 1.30 minutes. Then simply top with berries, banana and chopped nuts to serve.
Stove
Add your Quinoa Flakes, Milk, Chia Seeds and Cinnamon into a pan and simmer on a low heat for 3 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed. Then simply separate into two bowls and top with your berries, banana and chopped nuts before digging in!
Avocado on Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- 1 Pinch Chilli Flakes
- 2 tbsp Chopped Cilantro
- 1/2 Clove of Garlic (grated)
- Juice of 1/2 Lime
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- 2 Slices of Wholegrain Bread
Method
In a small bowl, combine the avocado, cilantro, lime, salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Mash all of the ingredients together and set to one side.
Next, lightly toast two slices of bread before topping with your avocado mixture and tucking in!
