Estée Lauder, the world’s first female entrepreneur, founded her company in 1946 armed with four products and an unshakeable belief that “Every woman can be beautiful.” From launching a beauty empire, to inventing the world’s first serum in 1982 (then called Night Repair), she has inspired women everywhere even to this day paving the way for beauty brands made by women both in and outside the U.S.

This fun and fresh cosmetics brand includes complexion-boosting skincare products and radiance-enhancing make-up. Petra Strand, founder and creator, has 20+ years of experience as a makeup artist & product developer. Passionate about skincare, Petra creates innovative formulations that are infused with botanicals and beneficial ingredients.
Gallinée
Marie, a French Doctor in Pharmacy with 15 years of experience working for innovative skincare brands. After discovering how a prebiotic and probiotic diet could improve her symptoms of gluten intolerance, Marie had a Eureka moment: What if we applied the same science to skin? She wrote a thesis on the benefits of harnessing good bacteria and then she created Gallinée. All products in their hair and skin care lines are enriched with a complex of prebiotic and postbiotic, alongside a ground-breaking ingredient: fermented rice water.
Slip
In 2003, slip Co-Founder and CEO, Fiona Stewart, was prescribed acne medication which resulted in extremely sensitive skin and thinning hair. Her dermatologist suggested sleeping on a silk pillowcase.
Unable to find one, she sourced the best silk she could find and wrapped it around her pillow. The results were dramatic and immediate, and she’s never looked back. She had stumbled upon a long-forgotten beauty secret (silk!) - and slip® was born. The following year Stewart alongside partner, Justin Dubois, officially launched slip® - the first silk pillowcase to be branded and marketed as a beauty product.
