Disappointed
2I originally purchased the ceramic 1inch Sedu Revolution probably 5 years ago. It has been consistently great, always heats up fast and stays hot, but lately has shown inevitable wear and tear. I decided that before it crapped out on me unexpectedly, I'd purchase a replacement. I originally bought the 1inch Sedu, but felt like the plates were just a little too small compared to my old one. So I exchanged for this one and was happy with the size. The first thing I noticed when I went to use it was it took way longer than my old one to heat up. Like about double the time it took my old one to. Once it finally did, it was barely hot enough. Again, I'm comparing to my old one which I believe doesn't even heat up to 420 degrees! I'll give it another chance but have a feeling I'll be returning it and will seek out a different brand. So disappointed in this brand!

I LOVE this flat iron!
5Everyone has there own preference, but mine is this one. It's the best. Swivel cord, good heat and long lasting.

Disappointed does not compare to my old GHD
2I LOVED my old GHD 1.5in flat iron, it lasted for 9 years and finally gave out a few weeks ago. I purchased this one as a replacement after reading good reviews, but it just does not compare. My hair is fine and wavy so its not like I need a super duty straightener... this one takes forever and I have to run it over my hair over and over to get the pieces straight. Only plus is it doesn't catch my hair in the sides of the plates like some others do.

Love this straightener
4I bought this same straightener 5 years ago and it just stopped working. Before my first Sedu, I've tried many brands, but nothing works as well and as quickly as this flat iron. It glides so smooth, the plates are wide and it heats up so quickly. Would buy again if this one breaks too.

Fantastic purchase. Lasted 8 years.
5I had this flat iron for eight years, and it just stopped working the other day. (I believe the wires near the base of the iron started shorting out, as the indicator light would flicker on/off.) However, this was a fantastic flat iron, completely reliable, constant heat, and I am back to purchase another Sedu iron.

This flat iron is a must buy!
5I recently purchased this flat iron two weeks ago. I used this Sedu Flat Iron for the first time on my teenage daughter, who has natural hair. The results were great. Gave her sleek shining hair as if she had a relaxer. I really enjoy using this flat iron!
