Nice product

Totally impractical nice product
2I was kindly offered this product to review by LF ™¼ As someone with oily roots and dry ends I wanted to give it a go. To use the product, the instructions tell you to apply it every night before washing your hair in each morning to give the producf a chance to work. 'Oh', I thought, I rarely have chance to wash my hair in the morning, let alone EVERY day. Usually I'm a 2/3 times a week girl and with 3 kids to get to school, there's absolutely no time most mornings. So practicality wise, it's very impractical to use... unless, of course, you have the time to apply the night before and wash your hair each morning. I did manage to use it one Sunday when I had a pamper day. I applied it in the morning and washed my hair in the evening. The product was easy to apply to my roots. The product was a good consistency - wasn't too runny or too thick. It had a nice fresh smell and felt slightly tingly and warming on my scalp. I didn't notice any difference however. But then you need to use it regularly for it to work and unfortunately, for me, this isn't possible.

Scalp Serum
4Nice cooling and soothing feel to this serum. The only downside is having to remember to use it the day before washing your hair which does make it a bit more of a faff. I probably won't use this very often, just now and again.

Some results
3I haven't seen a reduction in sebum levels to the extent of other reviewers, but I can see a small improvement. It's quite difficult to massage into the scalp, but does feel soothing. Can see it would help if you have an itchy scalp.

So far so good
5Unlike the recommended usage which is daily I have been using this twice weekly along side my normal hair care routine. I'm seeing improvements with my scalp and general condition of my hair. Still early days but liking it so far.

5I really love the Philips Kingsley brand but had never tried this. Very light weight and felt it gave my scalp a good cleaning
