Squalane also promotes skin elasticity and aims to enhance hydration, so with continued use, your skin will feel firm and appear more youthful.
As with all retinol products, caution should be taken in its application as it is prone to causing irritation, peeling, and redness. Although the squalane in this serum does help to minimize any irritation, as it has anti-inflammatory properties. It should also be noted that retinol can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, so extra care should be taken when applying sunscreen.
This formula is free from water, alcohol, silicones, nuts, gluten, and soy. The Ordinary is a cruelty-free brand, meaning that this product is also vegan and cruelty-free.
Apply a small amount to face in the PM as part of your skincare regimen, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool, dry place.

Good value but very runny and oily. Think I'd prefer a cream consistency for wearing at night.

Bought backup already
Really Nice serum. I am using second bottle now, and i have backup already at home. Just be carefoul around eyes, you can burn your skin. So not for sensitive skin time i think.

Good retinol to start on, skin won't react bad due to squaline. But it is slightly oily

Best choices I made
Its perfect for autumn n upcoming winter use. Amazing on my skin , great for face massage before sleep. And one of the best purchases I done , normally I use Elizabeth Arden ceramide retinol capsule which not suitable for winter , so this is for replacement but I'll love it already. Thank you for create this serum which is so affordable and yet amazing result

Good for sensitive skin as it does not dry out the skin and absorbs well.

Great product
For the price this is really great. Absorbs well, leaves skin feeling nice too. No horrible smell either which is always a bonus!! Quite a lot of skincare products cause me to breakout (very sensitive skin) but the ordinary products never do.

Hydrated and glowy skin
So far I like this product. I have been using it for about 1 month 2-3 times a week in the evening, and it always makes my skin look hydrated and glowy in the morning. I feel like it also helped with fine wrinkles.
