Blend and diffuse face powders like a pro with the award-winnning Artistique Face Brush from Kevyn Aucoin protégé and A-list makeup artist Troy Surratt’s eponymous cosmetics label.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of ‘monozukuri’ or craftsmanship, the brush is crafted from hand-tied natural fibres with ultimate precision and care by skilled artisans. Boasting a super-fluffy, oversized brush head fitted with whisper-soft, grey squirrel bristles, the face brush is designed to evenly distribute and buff loose or pressed powders – including bronzers, blushers, highlighters and setting powders – into skin for a seamless and ultra-natural base. Finished with a sleek black ferrule and ergonomic handle for precision application, every time.
Washing Your Surratt Brushes: We recommend washing your brushes once a week. To make the experience more enjoyable, use a light, conditioning shampoo with a fragrance you love. Under warm water, gently lather the bristles, and rinse thoroughly until no visible lather or pigment remains.
Drying Your Surratt Brushes: To ensure your brushes are dried thoroughly, and to maintain their longevity, we suggest drying them on a towel placed on a cookie sheet. Position the brushes so that the bristles face down, and the handles rest on the edge of the cookie sheet. This will ensure that any remaining moisture flows away from the metal and wood parts of the brush.

UNREAL
When you hear about this brush, you always hear raving reviews and words like, soft as cashmere, kitten paw, unreal, etc. I can attest to every one of those being 100% accurate. It’s actually hard to find the words that describe this brush. It’s light, but not cheap feeling, and the bristles are by far the SOFTEST, of any brush I own, and I own over 140 brushes, with 60% of those being luxury/high end Japanese brushes. This is softer than my Suqqu brushes, and I thought THATwas an impossible fete.
