- Dampen hair part down the middle.
- Place silk rod on top of hair secure with claw clip.
- Start with the front sections and wrap hair around the silk rod away from face. Add more hair as you move down the rod until all hair is wrapped.
- Remove claw clip, secure ends with scrunchies and leave overnight, or until hair is dry.
- To undo, remove scrunchies and lift rod up to remove to keep curl pattern.
- Style as desired.

Not worth it for fine hair
I was indecisive when buying this, as I have fine hair that doesn't hold styles well and I'm not very good at styling my hair so I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to use this. To my surprise, I actually was able to wrap my hair around this and secure it really easily and it looked just like the pictures, I planned to leave it in my hair for a few hours to really set the style. However, every time I've used this my hair quickly starts to unravel and frizz, and/or the device starts coming really loose even when I've been careful not to move too much or rest my head on anything. I've always ended taking it out prematurely because of this, and it definitely leaves quite a nice wave (not great though) and even using hairspray doesn't stop the style from falling out. If you have fine layered hair, it may be worth saving your money.!

Not what I'd hoped.
I have fine hair that is just a bit longer than shoulder length, and I also have layers. I don't find it too hard to use this, but it is a bit tricky to secure it properly and I find that my hair gets loose really easily and the band starts slipping off before I'm ready to take it out. I definitely wouldn't be able to use it overnight for this reason alone, but it is also quite bulky on my head. The finished effect is nice, but I wouldn't use it to style my hair before a night out or event, it just helps me look more put together for when I'm going to the shops or something.!
