Delivering frizz control around the clock, the gel effortlessly defines and shapes curls, whilst enhancing shine and smoothing strands from root to tip. No greasy residue, flaking or stickiness.
Free from sulphates, parabens and silicones.
- Application differs depending on your curl texture and desired results.
- Apply to soaking wet hair.
- For extra volume: Pour gel into palms and graze gel over canopy, tip head forward and graze underneath. Apply more gel to ends and scrunch hair up towards head. Scrunch and hold each section for 10 seconds to encourage curl formation.
- For volume control: Use fingers to rake gel through hair in sections starting at the back of the head and working towards the front. Ensure even distribution. This method works well for medium/thick textures to elongate curls and prevent shrinkage.
- Style as usual. Avoid touching hair until completely dry to prevent frizz. Once hair is completely dry, tip head forward and scrunch out gel.

I was excited for a lightweight defining gel
But it ended up looking really obvious in my porous curly hair and a tad too sticky to the touch even after I let it sit for a while.

CGM friendly Gel
One of my favourite CGM gels that I can actually still get delivered to Malta after Brexit (thanks LF). If you're following CGM this is a great gel to try with the Boucleme curl cream. I've been using it for a couple of years now. Gives a medium crunch (try the super hold styler for max crunch) and smells lovely.

Okay I guess!
This was a splurge for me, I don't use it that often though because I rarely wear my hair curly now. It is lightweight which is good for a gel but the smell is awful.

The only gel that works for me
Literally the only gel that works for my hair type. I am 2c/3a, very prone to frizz and also many products totally way down my hair and cause stickiness or just completely outweigh the texture. This gel is beautifully light but also holds my texture. totally totally worth the price, especially since it lasts so long as only need a small amount.

The smell
I was unable to use this after trying it twice because the smell was like Ben Gay and was too strong. My husband said my hair smelled awful so I haven't used it since.
