Love this hair straightener lives your hair so straight and soft recommended❤️❤️❤️Report this review
I've been using this iron for a few months and I can't say enough good things about it. I've always had coarse frizzy hair (to the point where even the most rigorous keratin treatments washed out in 3 or 4 weeks). I had my hair Japanese straightened just over a year ago with pretty good results, but I was using a cheaper iron for the first 9 months or so and I could really tell where my natural hair was growing back. The old iron broke so I bought this new one, and after using it i don't think I even need to get my hair straightened again! I never used to be able to straighten my own hair without it looking very amateurish but with this iron it looks like I got a $50 blow out every time.Report this review
This is the best straightener I've ever had! Makes my hair so smooth and shiny and I have very thick knotty hair. It Doesn't crease when I put my hair behind my ears either. Would definetly recommend!Report this review
I have owned the ceramic plated Solia for 6 years+ and the plates are finally starting to lose heat, so I decided to try the new Superhot Flat Iron. It is awesome!! It heats up very quickly, and little to no heat is lost while styling my hair. I am able to curl and straighten with this iron, just like my last Solia. One pass and you're done! It's great. The button placement does not bother me, neither do the buttons. I read some reviews on here that made me a little skeptical about the digital display, but I love it! It looks fancy and does an amazing job styling my hair. When I'm done, my hair looks super shiny & silky. I definitely recommend this iron!!Report this review
Great Flat iron. It gets really hot in no time!Report this review
This iron works very well, heats up quickly, and gets my thick, coarse, wavy hair straight with one or two swipes. The titanium plates have a different feel to them than the ceramic I am used to - it seems to grip the hair more firmly or something. The downsides: I dislike the power button/temperature gauge buttons, and the digital display on the back side of the handle. I have to dial up the temperature to where I want it every time I use it, then flip the iron over to see if it is set correctly - I wish that it would just automatically turn on to the last temperature I had it set to. Also, the power button will turn the iron on, but I can't get it to turn the iron off. So I have to unplug it after every use. Not a huge deal, but it adds an extra step. Maybe this is just an individual problem with the iron I received....?Report this review
I bought one for my granddaughter's July 4th birthday one for and one for my daughter-in-law's birthday in Sept.. But I have to order another one for my daughter-in-law since I couldn't resist opening hers. My hair went through the flat iron so smoothly and easily. No more split-looking ends. This flat iron brought back the bounce and volume I was missing. I love it!
I have really thick naturally curly hair. This flat-iron glides through my hair with ease, yet grips well. I have cut my styling time almost in half. If you have thick hair that doesn't straighten easily, this is the flat-iron for you!Report this review
I am head over heels in love with this flat iron. I am very loyal to the Solia brand, I've used their flat irons and other products for many years. When my previous flat iron finally died out, after about 5 or 6 years of daily usage, I decided to upgrade to the new "SuperHot" model.
The pros - glides through my hair effortless and leaves my hair feeling smooth and shiny. it is very lightweight and comfortable to hold in my hand. I am able to straighten my hair faster than ever before. The iron also heats up incredibly quickly.
The Cons - this is hardly a con but instead of a dial, the SuperHot has a button on the side to increase/decrease the temperature. I find this button difficult to press if you don't push on it perfectly.
highly recommend this product. LOVE LOVE LOVE
There is no doubt that this flat iron has some AMAZING features, I always used the original ceramic iron which lasted for years and I was so sad when it died so I purchased this one. I love the digital reader, it heats up super fast, however my hair has become SO damaged with this. The ceramic iron I could have used every day and my hair would be perfect ( not that I use every day). With this flat iron, yes my hair is super straight and silky but for some reason my hair doesn't respond well to the titanium, my hair also does not do well with sedu as well it feels dry. I loved it at first and will keep it, I think if I were to be natural I could benefit more, but I think it's too much on my relaxed hair.Report this review
