Just purchased this gem and it's truly great! I have thick wavy hair and it worked like a charm. My hair was straight with one pass! The design is beautiful and it's not too heavy. Treat yourself!Report this review
I bought this on a recommendation from my stylist. It is amazing!! It doesn't burn my hair and it leaves it feeling shiny and soft (it's naturally thick and wavy). I Would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend to others!Report this review
I was a little worried to change from a Solia to a Sedu, but I figured I would give it a try, seeing at it was a profession version. I couldn't be happier with this product. Besides it being absolutely gorgeous, it straightens my hair in half the time my Solia did. I like having the option to control the heat and the automatic shut off, but the fact that this styling iron guides through your hair with such ease and with one pass, it makes a world of difference. I would highly recommend you purchasing this, if you want a high quality took with fantastic results.Report this review
This flat iron made my 3C natural hair feel silky and look shiny. My only issue is the heat setting can only be adjusted at increments of 30 degrees at a time. This meant either flat ironing my hair at 390 OR 420. I typically like 400. I did it on 420 this time around but think next time I will just flat iron at 390. 420 was VERY powerful and I'm not sure my hair needed all of that.Report this review
I used it for the first time and I love it, i thought if i did not like it i would send it back, well sorry I'm keeping it!!!!!My hair straightened nice and was shiny.Report this review
over the years I have used soooo many flat irons..like chi or babyliss..even soLia that gave up on me after a year..they were all okay in straightening my thick and wavy hair but I have never had results like this. my hair not only feel shinier soft and super straight but it is time saving!!! I have so much hair and this iron straightens hair in 10 minutes which is very impressive and important to me as a mother of 2 little ones. amazing product! never going back to any other flat iron!!Report this review
I have been using Sedu products for years. I was in love with my new Revolution Iron I got last year to replace my older version.
When I saw the new Icon with a digital display, I needed to have it. The display is great and I love the textile cord, which is the same as the Revolution. This iron gets HOTT. I have pretty thick curly hair and I'm able to quickly straighten my hair and it looks amazing and shiny. It also feels great in my hands and the plates make it very easy to attempt to curl (I've been practicing).
Great work, Sedu!
In love with my new straightener - Sedu never disappoints!! Heats up fast, and straightens my hair in just one pass. Amazing! My hair becomes so smooth and shiny, best tool ever!!Report this review
I've been a Chi flat iron user gosh for at least 15 years and decided to upgrade to a salon quality flat iron. I need something quick and easy so I am willing to spend extra $$$ for an excellent flat iron.
The Sedu Icon 1" Styling Iron with StyleShield = WOW!
-It's beautiful and has a nice hand on it
-Nice digital window and temp control
-Nice textile cord
-Heats up quickly
-Creates nice flat, sleek hair at 390 degrees (I have a lot of thin semi-flat/frizz hair, medium length, due to hair coloring)
-Hair feels silky, frizz-free and tamed (even after 24 hours)
-I use less than 1/2 of my hair products after using this (and my new Elchim 3900 hair dryer)
-Takes me 2-3 minutes to flat iron my hair
I just tried my new Sedu iron and I love the new design, longer plates, lighter model, and great results. This is my 3rd Sedu and i think they are the best in the market, BUT is it supposed to get hot on the outside?? my previous Sedu never got hot outside allowing to hold the tip of the iron to create waves. Is this normal? I would appreciate any feedback.
